Good news for running fans: from 4 to 25 July 2009 the Kenyan marathon stars will once more be coming to the Alpe di Siusi. During these three weeks they will be preparing for the world athletics championships in Berlin and the difficult autumn marathons.
The stars will be staying in the Hotel Bellavista on the Alpe di Siusi; they include Sammy Wanjiru, gold medallist at the 2008 Bejing Olympics, three-times London winner Martin Lel and five-times Boston marathon winner Robert Cheruiyot.
During the stay there’s even the possibility to measure oneself with the stars in the context of the run “Alpe di Siusi Running” on July 19.
