Some weeks ago she trained together with her Kenyan team colleagues on the Alpe di Siusi to prepare for the World Championship in Berlin. On 19 August 2009 Janeth Businei Jepkosgei won the Silver medal in the 800 m final. The last year’s olympic silver medalist was beaten only by the South African Castor Semenya.
For the third time this year some of the best kenyan athletes completed their preparation for the match season on the Alpe di Siusi. Cheruiyot Robert Kipkoech, Wanjiru Samuel Kamau, Busieni Janeth Jepkosgei and their “running colleagues” benefit from the excellent altitude of the Alpe di Siusi.
