Bread-making course at the Oberprantacher Bakery Learn how to bake the traditional breads of South Tyrol together with Klaus the baker at the Oberprantacher Bakery in Siusi allo Sciliar. You will learn how Schüttelbrot rye flatbread got its name, and the right way to shape the “Vinschgerlen” pair-bread. The baker will demonstrate and explain the difference betweeen the variety of grains used in bread making, and provide you with a host of useful tips on baking bread. After the course, you can go home with your own homemade Schüttelbrot and hand-shaped Vinschger Paarl.
