Hike Hofer Alpl-Tschafon

We take the bus 176 at 8.17 am from Tiers (8.11 am St. Zyprian) to Ums. From there we climb quite steeply to the Hofer Alpl, where we take a first break. We continue in the direction of Schlern. At Peter Frag we take the path to the Tschafonhütte, which we reach after a total of 2.5 hours. From there, if desired, we can continue the path to Völseggspitze (20 min.). Possibility to stop at the Tschafonhütte. Descent to Weißlahnbad and St. Zyprian, from where you can take bus 185 or 176 to Tiers. Walking time: approx. 4 hours (with Völseggspitze additional 40 min).
Moderately difficult hike, 800 m ascent, 600 m descent (with Völseggspitze + 100 m each)
