Nature park House Sciliar-Catinaccio: The area of the nature park Sciliar-Catinaccio has a diversified history, not only in its prehistoric formation. The resulting flora and fauna as well as the management by the people, along with their customs and myths, have left their mark. The exhibition in the nature park house tries to show all aspects of this area’s unique geology, which was the main reason leading to being named as a Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the flora and fauna, which has always been a source of attraction and inspiration for scientists and nature lovers. In laborious detail work, the inhabitants of this area contributed significantly to the preservation of this valuable cultural and natural landscape.
In addition to the exhibitions of the Nature Park department, the tourist office Siusi allo Sciliar and the village library complete the offer for guests and locals.

The Nature Park House Sciliar-Catinaccio is located at the Oswald von Wolkenstein square in the centre of Siusi allo Sciliar. At the roundabout in Siusi allo Sciliar take the exit in the direction of the centre. After 150 metres you will find the Nature Park House on the left side.
Siusi with the Nature Park House can also be easily reached by public transport. The bus station, where all bus lines stop, is in only 2 minutes walking distance from the centre and therefore also from the Nature Park House Sciliar-Catinaccio.
The exhibition in the Nature Park House explains the origin of geology, flora and fauna and the influence of mankind to preserve this unique area.
There is an underground car park just 2 minutes walk from the centre. It is located behind the Esso petrol station below the bus station. The first basement is against payment, the second basement is free of charge for 2 hours with parking disc.
