E-mountain bike tour - culinary delights, culture, nature and sport
The mountain bike enjoyment tour is definitely a highlight for discerning gourmets.
The focus is on ambitious, culinary enjoyment, paired with special experiences in nature, culture and sport.
We start in Völs am Schlern.
Our first destination is the dreamy hamlet of St. Konstantin. The well-known summer resort scores with a picturesque church.
After a short visit, the route takes us to the legendary Tschurtsch meadows, meeting place of the wild Schlern witches.
From there we reach the idyllic Völser Weiher, fishing ground of the former governor of Tyrol.
We continue to the Huber Weiher pond to the fantastically situated Tuff-Alm. There the Tuff-Sepp awaits us with a hearty "Brettljause".
Strengthened for now, we continue via the Migg-Höhle to the Hofer-Alpl.
A fantastic panoramic view awaits us on the sun terrace. Next treat: delicious South Tyrolean specialities, personally prepared by the hut owner Lukas.
We then continue to the Umser Weiher pond and through meadows and forests to Schönblick, a tranquil vantage point, where we are treated to delicious sweet treats.
Next stop is the magnificent Renaissance castle of Prösels. The wine cellar takes us on a short journey of discovery into the prestigious world of the Völser winegrowers, famous for their particularly fine wines.
Finally, we cycle on leisurely. Past farms and through cultivated natural and cultural landscapes, we reach our starting point again in Völs am Schlern.
