In the heart of the Alpe di Siusi lies the Ritsch Cross-Country Skiing Center – the ideal starting point for unforgettable cross-country skiing experiences amid the Dolomites. From Ritsch, about 80 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails stretch out for all skill levels, offering breathtaking views of the Sciliar, Sassolungo, and Sasso Piatto. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, here you’ll find the perfect track for sport, nature, and relaxation.
At the Ritsch Cross-Country Skiing Center, tickets for the trails can be purchased directly on site. The attendant is happy to provide guests with valuable tips on cross-country skiing and trail selection.
An information board indicates the appropriate wax depending on the current temperature. In addition, there is the possibility to store jackets and personal equipment (at your own risk).
For guests’ comfort, restrooms and seating areas are also available.
Public transport

The valley station of the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway can be easily reached via the following connections:

  • Bus line 1 from Seis am Schlern
  • Bus line 2 from Völs am Schlern
  • Bus line 3 from Kastelruth
  • Line 170 from Bolzano/Bozen or Bressanone/Brixen main station to the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway stop.

The Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway is subject to a fee and is not included in public transport.

Description to arrive at destination

The Seiser Alm can be reached in a sustainable and comfortable way by the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway from Seis am Schlern.

The road to the Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9 am to 5 pm.

From the top station of the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway, you can reach the Ritsch Cross-Country Skiing Center via the Ritsch–Saltria connecting trail on skis or by taking the Almbus no. 11.
