Swing on Snow

20 Years of the WinterMusicFestival
For six days, the Dolomites region Seiser Alm transforms into a unique soundscape: during Swing on Snow, folk music, brass, soul, pop, and classical merge into an unmistakable alpine festival experience. In the mornings, the first notes can be heard at the Seiser Alm cable car mountain station, at midday the music continues in the huts of the Seiser Alm. In the evenings, concerts fill the villages of Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern, Völs am Schlern und Tiers am Rosengarten.

For the 20th anniversary, you can look forward to a “Best of” from two decades of festival history, with musical highlights and artists who have shaped the unique character of Swing on Snow.

Swing on Snow will take place over two sessions of three days each: from March 12–14, 2026, and from March 19–21, 2026.

Early bird skiing with alpine breakfast

Exclusive skiing experience with breakfast on the Seiser Alm. Here is the reason why you should get up early during your ski holiday: On five days in March and April (Wednesdays) three ski lifts open alternately and exclusively at 7:00 am. Early birds have the opportunity to cross the freshly groomed and deserted slopes and enjoy the special morning atmosphere on Europe's largest mountain plateau, while being accompanied by ski instructors and receiving valuable tips. At 9:00 a.m. breakfast is served in the mountain hut. During the rich alpine breakfast with many delicious products from South Tyrol you can enjoy the morning sun and recharge your batteries before you head straight back to the slopes.

For us, it’s minutes of fun; for animals, it’s fear, panic, and stress. Pets and wildlife suffer every New Year’s Eve, fleeing in terror, injuring themselves, or losing vital energy. Fireworks also harm the environment and leave tons of trash behind.
