Early bird skiing with alpine breakfast

Exclusive skiing experience with breakfast on the Seiser Alm. Here is the reason why you should get up early during your ski holiday: On five days in March and April (Wednesdays) three ski lifts open alternately and exclusively at 7:00 am. Early birds have the opportunity to cross the freshly groomed and deserted slopes and enjoy the special morning atmosphere on Europe's largest mountain plateau, while being accompanied by ski instructors and receiving valuable tips. At 9:00 a.m. breakfast is served in the mountain hut. During the rich alpine breakfast with many delicious products from South Tyrol you can enjoy the morning sun and recharge your batteries before you head straight back to the slopes.

Swing on Snow

Six days of music on the ski slopes and in the huts on the Seiser Alm and in the villages at the foot of the Sciliar mountain, sweet melodies and dynamic rhythms, groups from the entire Alpine region, and above all a great atmosphere: this is Swing on Snow 2025. For the 17th year in a row the Seiser Alm Winter Music Festival offers a mix of traditional folk music with jazz, soul, pop and classical music.

The bands play on the various ski slopes on the Seiser Alm in the morning, at lunchtime they perform in the mountain huts of the Seiser Alm and in the evening the villages of Castelrotto, Siusi, Fiè and Tires host atmospheric after ski concerts. During the WinterMusicFestvial musical enjoyment combines perfectly with skiing.

The 17th edition of Swing on Snow will take place from March 13 to March 21, 2025.

Meet Hans Peter Demetz – a true local legend. A brilliant architect, a talented caricaturist, a quick-witted speaker, and a walking encyclopedia. He’s also one of the creative masterminds behind the "Völser Kuchlkastl" 💚🍽️.

The idea was born 46 years ago, and that very night, he sketched the first design. To this day, Hans Peter still hand-draws the image that represents the "Völser Kuchlkastl" each year. His work is filled with passion for the local culinary traditions.

The "Völser Kuchlkastl" has inspired countless chefs in Völs to combine traditional recipes with modern twists, showcasing the power of regional, authentic ingredients. Hans Peter’s vision was ahead of its time and still shines today.

🎨🌲Last summer, artists from the Schlern region have turned the Calvary hill in Kastelruth into a small art trail! In just a half-hour walk, you can discover curiosities, fun artworks, and creative art ideas. From paintings to wooden sculptures and art made from recycled materials – there’s something for everyone! 🖼️🤩

The exhibition is open until the end of November.
