The idyllic Marinzen Alp is located just above Kastelruth and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. At the same time, it is a starting point for numerous walks and hikes – ideal for the whole family.
With the Marinzen cable car, located near the village center of Kastelruth, you can reach the alpine pasture in just a few minutes.
If you simply want to enjoy nature and the view, the Alpin Marinzen with its sunny terrace as well as the nearby Schafstall Hut (about a 15-minute walk away) invite you to stay and relax.
At the Marinzen Alm, families can enjoy a variety of activities: little ones will love meeting the animals in the petting zoo, while older children can let off steam at the large adventure playground. For a calmer experience, visitors can try their luck fishing at the pond – day tickets are available at Alpin Marinzen.
Even in the winter months, Alpin Marinzen on the Marinzen Alm is a winter paradise with a magic carpet lift and an ice-skating rink.
The valley station of the Marinzen cable car is located close to the centre of Kastelruth. The cable car takes you straight up to the Marinzen Alm at 1,500 metres – right to Alpin Marinzen with its playground.
The parking area for the Marinzen cable car is located behind the Coop supermarket and is subject to a fee.
