Tschamintal/Val Ciamin

Via S. Giorgio 79 39050 Tires al Catinaccio/Tiers am Rosengarten
General description

The Tschamin Valley is a wild and romantic valley near Tiers, where peace and unspoilt nature still prevail, far removed from noise and bustle. Nestled in the Dolomites, it reveals a landscape of remarkable tranquillity and natural authenticity.

Its setting between two striking mountain worlds is particularly impressive: on one side, views open towards the Tschamin peaks and the steep rock faces of the Schlern; on the other, the imposing towers and pinnacles of the Rosengarten rise into the sky. This contrast gives the valley its distinctive character.

Along the valley floor, several small clearings with beautiful views appear, among them the Rechter Leger – a wonderfully situated spot. This romantic alpine meadow, with several benches, offers open views of the Rosengarten and Schlern groups and invites quiet contemplation.

The gently murmuring Tschamin stream accompanies the valley, its soft sound enhancing the atmosphere of calm. Between forest, meadow and rock, the Tschamintal has preserved its original, almost timeless character.
