A varied traverse featuring a steep ascent, secured sections, and impressive mountain scenery. This route reveals the Schlern from its distinctly alpine side.
Tour description:
After taking the cable car up to the Seiser Alm, we begin our hike towards the Panorama Trail and traverse the slopes of the Goldknopf to the foot of the Rosszahn ridge. We ascend in switchbacks to the Rosszahn Saddle and soon reach the Tierser Alpl Hut, where we stop for lunch. The descent follows the Bärenloch, which is secured in places with steel cables. Lower down, the trail leads us through the Tschamin Valley to Weißlahnbad.
Walking time: approx. 5–6 hours
Ascent: approx. 650 m
Descent: approx. 1,300 m
Distance: approx. 17 km
Difficulty: moderate; sure-footedness and good basic fitness required

Service description
The price includes only the guided hike. Cable car tickets and lunch are not included and must be covered by the participants. It is recommended to take this into account when planning the hike.
Directions
* The starting point of the hike can be reached by public bus line 176. The bus departs from St. Zyprian (Tiers) and continues to the Seiser Alm cable car.

Boarding is possible at every bus stop along the route.
The hiking guide will be present from St. Zyprian onwards. All participants are therefore kindly asked to board the bus independently and to be on time at their chosen stop.
