"Kastelruther Spatzen" music festival

On local soil, fans of the "Kastelruther Spatzen" have the opportunity to be truly enchanted. The Schlern area, home of the popular "Kastelruther Spatzen", is transformed into a festival area. The "heroes of folk music" provide - surrounded by a unique backdrop of the Dolomites - for mood at the traditional festival of the "Kastelruther Spatzen". A big parking area and an enormous festival tent are built up to celebrate with the "Kastelruther Spatzen" for three days of morning pint, autograph sessions and nice evenings. Also the songs of the Spatzen sound nowhere so well as at home in Kastelruth.

The festival takes place at the Tirlerhof, located 1 km outside the village.
On foot, you can reach the festival area in about 25 minutes from the center of Kastelruth.

There are free shuttle buses departing from the bus stations in Kastelruth, Seis, and also Völs am Schlern. They will bring you to about 200 m below the festival area. From there, it’s only a 10-minute walk to the festival. You can get the shuttle timetable at the local tourist offices.

By car, drive towards Tiosels/Wasserebene, as the main road is closed.
