7th Kastelruth Krampus Parade

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Kastelruth transforms into one of South Tyrol’s most spectacular winter stages!

52 Krampus groups with around 1,000 “Tuifl” from South Tyrol, Trentino, Austria, and Switzerland will turn the village into a thrilling inferno of bells, masks, and smoke.

The festivities begin at 2:00 PM, with music, food, drinks, and a warm, festive Christmas atmosphere in the village center.

At 5:00 PM, the grand Krampus Parade starts at the Middle School, moving along Paniderstraße, through the village center past the Christmas market, and onto the show stage at the Dolomitenstraße intersection, where the groups will present their devilish shows, hosted live by two moderators.

The approximately 950-meter-long route is well secured, so families with children can enjoy the spectacle up close. Food and drinks are available along the route for spectators.

The Parade lasts until around 7:00 PM, and then the celebration continues!
Join the Krampus party in the underground garage as well as the various local club stands in the village, for an evening of fun that lasts late into the night.

We recommend visitors to arrive early. The town center will be closed to traffic from 4:00 PM.
-Arrival from Waidbruck: You can park at Dossler Wiese; from there the center can be reached in about 10 minutes.
-Arrival from Val Gardena: Parking is available at Tirlerhof; from there the center can be reached in about 15 minutes.
-Arrival from Bolzano, Seis, Seiser Alm or Völs: Park in Telfen; there are several parking options, and the center is reachable in about 15 minutes.
-Parking before 4:00 PM: Directly in the center, in the village parking garage (Parkgarage Dorf), at Martinsheim (accessible only from Waidbruck), at Tirlerhof, or in the direction of Hotel Tyrol.
