Riding Tournament Oswald von Wolkenstein

From game to game: Galloping into the Middle Ages is every spring the returning motto in the Dolomites region Seiser Alm. After the start at the Trostburg Castel in Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena the tournament goes on with four stages: at the Kofel/Mount Calvary in Kastelruth takes place the traditional ring jousting. The second game, the labyrinth, is on program at the Matzlbödele in Seis.The third of four stages takes place at the Völser Weiher lake with its gallop. The tournament concludes with the game at Prösels Castle, the ride through posts.

From 10:00 Morning get-together with musical entertainment at the village square
From 16:00 Beginning of the village festival in Kastelruth
From 17:00 Musical entertainment with the group "Volxsrock
From 18:00 Concert of the “Völser Musikanten“ at the schoolyard
19:00 Opening of the village festival with beer tapping and announcement of the starting order (free beer barrel donated by the special beer brewery Forst from Algund) at the village square
From 21:00 Live music with “Florian Andreas” (only official double of Andreas Gabalier) and DJ Fillini, show interludes of the group "Feuervögel"
as well as "Around the clock" by Vertikal Event

Program on Saturday, June 03
From 10:00 Morning get-toghter with musical entertainment by the group
"Kialschrank Böhmische" at the village square
From 14:30 Big parade from Hotel Alpenflora to the village center
From 15:30 Opening ceremony and start of the festival at the village square,
followed by concerts of different bands, live music and DJs,
Show performance of the group "Feuervögel" as well as "Around the clock
by Vertikal Event, archery, and much more.
From 16:00-20:00 live concert by Nina Duschek in the Dolomitenstraße
From 17:00 Musical entertainment with the group "Die Kemitna" at the village square
From 18:00 Musical entertainment with the group "Soliden Oberkrainer" at the schoolyard
20:00 Riders' mass in the parish church
From 21:00 Party atmosphere with DJs

Program on Saturday, June 04
7:00 am - Start of the "40th Oswald von Wolkenstein Ride" at the medieval Trostburg in Waidbruck
9:30 am - 1st tournament game: "Ringstechen" at the Kofel in Kastelruth
11:00 a.m. - 2nd tournament game: "Labyrinth" at Matzlbödele in Siusi allo Sciliar
12:40 p.m. - 3rd tournament game: "Obstacle gallop" at the Völser Weiher in Völs am Schlern
2:20 p.m. - 4th tournament game: "Tor-Ritt" Heinz "Bummi" Tschugguel at Prösels Castle, followed by the award ceremony and closing party.
