The road to the Seiser Alm nature reserve is closed to private car traffic from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
As of June 2025, a new regulation applies to the Spitzbühl parking lot. A parking fee of €15 per vehicle is charged. Please note that debit and credit card payments are not possible. Payment can only be made in cash. The price includes one discounted ticket for either the Spitzbühl chairlift or the new bus line 14, which runs between Spitzbühl and Compatsch. Bus line 14 operates from June 15 to September 28, and improves access to the Spitzbühl lift and the Tschapit area. The route is served by a minibus.

Free use of line 14 from Spitzbühl for holders of the following cards/tickets: Spitzbühl lift ticket, Südtirol Pass, Combi Card, Seiser Alm Card Gold, and Dolomiti Super Summer.

In the Seiser Alm Nature Protection Reserve parking is prohibited from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am. The local police carry out conduct checks in this regard and fines are imposed.
With the euopean identity card for the disabled (blue card for parking) you can drive to Spitzbühl and Compatsch at every time of the day and park for free.
The P1 car park Spitzbühl has paid (15.00€ a day) parking spaces.
Parking lot P1 is free of charge from the beginning of November until the end of April.
