Sun-kissed alpine area in the Dolomites
The cozy hut in the above Tires is a holiday paradise for hikers, families and people who want to escape mass tourism and enjoy tranquility.
Given that we are not reachable by car, we organize a guest-transfer for
the arrival and departure.
Our day guests can reach us from the Niger Street (17.5 km) with a short 30 minutes' hike. Those who enjoys longer tours, can reach us on a moderate hiking tour (1,5 h) starting from S. Cipriano, or from the Passo Nigra in 3 hours (via the Haniger Schwaige). A hiking bus brings the guests to the starting point.

Family-friendly rooms on the Plafötsch Alm
In addition to five beautifully furnished rooms, the hut above S. Cipriano also offers a multi-bed room. A cot is available for infants. Since 2018 every room has a private shower and WC. Babybeds are available. You wanto to bring your dog? Please note at the reservation, it has be confirmed.

A feast for the plate: The Tyrolean cuisine
Our guests will be pampered throughout the day with local specialties. Depending on their taste, they can choose between a traditional "Brettljause", famous gray cheese with onion, fresh salads from the own garden, yogurt with fresh fruit, or a warm dish of the day. Here the offer of traditional dishes varies from day to day between homemade bacon or cheese dumplings, fried potatoes with fried eggs and bacon, pancake, omelets, and much more.
The rich offer is completed with our homemade fresh juices, our freshly made cakes and our barbecue on the weekend - The guests won't forget this culinary experience on the Plafötsch Alm!
