The "Vision Choir" is the children's choir of the aid organisation Vision for Africa Intl. from Uganda/East Africa. Vision for Africa is an internationally active organisation whose aim is to provide needy children in Africa (focus currently Uganda) with an education and to give young people the perspective for a future in their home country.
Ugandan children love to sing, dance enthusiastically to any music, are extremely rhythmic and musically inclined. With their music they express life and joy. This enthusiasm was the reason for putting together a choir with the school children of the project: the Vision Choir.
This children's choir consists of 20 children between the ages of 6 and 12 and has been touring Europe every three years since the first European tour in 2008. The choir will give an opportunity for a taste of this African joie de vivre on Wednesday, 12.04.2023 at 08:00 pm in the House of Culture in Seis.
No seat reservation necessary - admission is free (donations are welcome).
Directions
The House of Culture O.v.Wolkenstein is located in the centre of Seis am Schlern. Coming from Kastelruth take the third exit at the roundabout, the House of Culture is located after approx. 150 m on the right hand side.
