What fascinates us about the small churches in South Tyrol when we encounter them on our paths? What relationship do the people of Völs have with the little churches that can be found in their community area from St. Kathrein to Ums, Prösels and Peterbühl to St. Konstantin?
An exhibition of 35 large-format photos in the Völs Gallery aims to explore these themes and reproduce atmospheres: the harmony with the landscape, the surprise when they unexpectedly emerge from the green, and the relationship of the people of Völs to "their churches". The author, Ulrich Wienand, has lived for years in Ferrara and in Völs.
