It is not large, but it is idyllically situated: the Völser Weiher lake, which was created in the 16th century by Leonhard von Völs-Colonna as a fish pond. Today, fishing is prohibited, but bathing is allowed in that half of the lake which is not designated as a biotope. A real treat on hot summer days! The Völser Weiher lake is situated at an altitude of 1,036 m above sea level and is a maximum depth of 3.5 meters. Near the pond there is also an information point of the Nature Park House Schlern-Rosengarten.
