Dolomites UNESCO Geotrail
A 176 km long hiking trail to discover the fossil archipelago of the World Heritage Site
The Dolomites have been a Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. Due to their geological uniqueness, the idea of creating a long-distance hiking trail through the Dolomites was born. This consists of 10 stages, where the most beautiful mountain groups of the Dolomites are roamed through. The third and fourth stages of the Geotrail lead through the Seiser Alm holiday region. The 10 stages are also ideal for day trips. The entry and exit points can almost always be reached by public transport.
