Guided hike along the "Oachner Höfeweg"

This guided hike explores the Oachner Höfeweg from an unusual perspective: instead of starting at the traditional trailhead, we begin halfway along the route and experience it as a varied circular walk through a traditional farming landscape, ponds, and historic farmsteads.

Tour description:
We meet on bus line 185 and travel together to the Unteraicha stop. From there, we hike towards the Wirtskeller, unique traditional cellars built among natural rock formations. Thanks to the constant natural temperatures created by the stone, these cellars were traditionally used to cool and store food and beverages. We then continue on to the historic Prösels Castle, where landscape and local history come together.
The trail then climbs to the Schnaggenkreuz, a small viewpoint offering fine panoramic views, and continues towards the Oachner Pond. Crossing meadows and quiet forest sections, we eventually reach the village centre of Völser Aicha, where several inviting refreshment stops await. After a break, we continue along the route, passing a number of traditional farmhouses that give the Sentiero dei masi its name and distinctive character, before returning to our starting point.

The price includes only the guided hike. Lunch is not included and must be covered by the participants. It is recommended to take this into account when planning the hike.

The starting point of the hike can be reached by public bus line 185. The bus departs from St. Zyprian, Tiers cable car and continues to Bolzano.

Main stops and arrival times:

• Tiers, Brunnenplatz – arrival at 09:09
• Unteraicha – arrival at 09:20

Boarding is possible at all stops up to Unteraicha.
The hiking guide will be present from St. Zyprian onwards. All participants are therefore kindly asked to board the bus independently and to be on time at their chosen stop.
