The Südtirol Guest Pass

If you choose accommodation in Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern, Völs am Schlern or Tiers am Rosengarten, the Südtirol Guest Pass is included in the price of your stay. It allows you to use all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge and enjoy numerous additional benefits.
You can also request the Guest Pass in advance and use it for your journey to South Tyrol when travelling by public transport.

A fee charged in addition to the accommodation price

The tourist’s tax

In every accommodation in South Tyrol, a tourist’s tax is charged in addition to the room rate. This tax is required by law and must be paid on site by all guests aged 14 and over. The amount varies according to the category of accommodation:

Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern, Seiser Alm and Völs am Schlern:

€3.50 per person per night in 4-star and 4-star-S establishments
€3.00 per person per night in 3-star and 3-star-S establishments, in “5-flower” farm stays and in private rooms with a “5-sun” rating
€2.50 per person per night in all other accommodation types

Tiers am Rosengarten

In 4-star and 4s-star accommodation establishments €3.90 per person and night
In accommodation establishments with 3/3s stars as well as in UaB establishments with 5 flowers and private rentals with 5 suns €3.40 per person and night
For all other accommodation establishments €2.90 per person and night
