A holiday on the Seiser Alm is …

… heavenly diverse & full of enjoyment

A holiday on the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi means spending time on the largest high Alpine pasture in Europe. Covering 56 km², it is the ideal destination for active travellers and nature enthusiasts. The views of the surrounding Dolomites peaks are breathtaking, and the opportunities are wonderfully varied – all year round. The Seiser Alm is a protected landscape and part of the Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park as well as the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. The Seiser Alm gondola lift, whose bottom station is located in Seis am Schlern, takes you up to the high plateau in about 15 minutes. You can park your car either in the free outdoor car park or in the paid underground garages. Once you arrive on the Seiser Alm, you’ll find yourself in a true paradise of outdoor activities – from hiking, biking and climbing in summer to skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoe hiking in winter. Seiser Alm Nature Reserve
The Seiser Alm is not only Europe’s largest Alpine pasture but also part of a protected nature reserve and the Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park. For this reason, access for private vehicles is restricted. Cars may only drive up to Compatsch at certain times of the day.
The most environmentally friendly and convenient option is therefore to take the Seiser Alm gondola lift. Camping and pitching tents are strictly prohibited across the entire Seiser Alm, as is the use of drones.
