Seiser Alm Cable Car

The Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway in winter

Take the gondola lift up to the Seiser Alm/Gröden ski area

All aboard! The Seiser Alm gondola lift takes you and your companions – including skis, snowboards, toboggans, snowshoes, dogs and pushchairs – up to the largest high-Alpine pasture in Europe and into the Seiser Alm/Gröden ski area in just 15 minutes. Once there, you can head straight out onto the slopes or explore the Seiser Alm while cross-country skiing or winter hiking.

Important: The ascent and descent with the Seiser Alm gondola lift are already included in both the Seiser Alm/Gröden ski pass and the Dolomiti Superski pass.

The bottom station of the Seiser Alm gondola lift is located in Seis am Schlern, at Schlernstraße 39. You can park for free in the large outdoor car park, or for a fee in the parking garages. There are also three charging stations for electric cars.
All further information on prices, tickets and operating hours can be found here. From single tickets to family tickets and various combination tickets or season passes – the right ticket is available for every need.

Restricted daytime access to the Seiser Alm
Especially in winter, the safest and most convenient way to reach the Seiser Alm is by taking the Seiser Alm gondola lift. If you still wish to drive up to the Seiser Alm, please be aware that it is a protected landscape.
When the gondola lift is in operation, access to the Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You may therefore drive up to Compatsch on the Seiser Alm either before 9:00 am or after 5:00 pm. Driving down is permitted at any time.

Using the Seiser Alm cable car with a dog
Both at the bottom and top stations of the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway, as well as inside the cabins, dogs must—as in all public transport—wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead. Please also note that you need to purchase a separate ticket for your dog. You will find the current prices further down on this page.
