In the 2026/2027 winter season, the Seiser Alm gondola lift operates from 5 December 2026 to 4 April 2027. During this period, the Seiser Alm gondola lift runs daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. -
Restricted daytime access to the Seiser AlmEspecially in winter, the safest and most convenient way to reach the Seiser Alm is by taking the Seiser Alm gondola lift. If you still wish to drive up to the Seiser Alm, please be aware that it is a protected landscape.
When the gondola lift is in operation, access to the Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You may therefore drive up to Compatsch on the Seiser Alm either before 9:00 am or after 5:00 pm. Driving down is permitted at any time. -
Using the Seiser Alm cable car with a dogBoth at the bottom and top stations of the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway, as well as inside the cabins, dogs must—as in all public transport—wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead. Please also note that you need to purchase a separate ticket for your dog. You will find the current prices further down on this page. -
Buying tickets at discounted pricesDiscounted tickets can only be purchased at the ticket offices of the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway. Important: The person claiming the discount must be present in person and show their ID. If either of these requirements is not met, the full ticket price will be charged. Thank you for your understanding!
