Biking through the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm

Endless variety when biking in South Tyrol

Exploring the Seiser Alm by bike is pure enjoyment. Breathtaking mountain panoramas rise above gentle, sun-drenched Alpine meadows – and right in the middle of it all, you’re on your bike. An e-bike tour is one of the very best ways to experience the wide-open landscapes of the Seiser Alm. Down in the surroundings of the villages of Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern, Völs am Schlern and Tiers am Rosengarten, you can ride along leisurely biking routes through picturesque scenery. The Seiser Alm and its villages offer everything from well-maintained cycle paths and mountain-bike routes along wide forest tracks to demanding tours with major altitude differences. And as the bike routes stretch across two elevation levels between 700 m and 2,440 m, you can enjoy biking here throughout the entire year.

The biking region Seiser Alm/Gröden
The Seiser Alm biking region is connected to Gröden, giving you access to a total of 600 km of bike routes. Exploring them is a true delight from spring through autumn. Gröden also offers several highly demanding trails with thrilling descents, including the legendary Sellaronda MTB Tour, which you can reach from the Seiser Alm by bike.
Whether you prefer relaxed tours or technical challenges, the combined biking region opens up an impressive spectrum of landscapes, viewpoints and experiences to enjoy on two wheels.

All about bike transport
The Seiser Alm gondola lift brings both you and your bike up to the Seiser Alm within minutes. Several lifts on the Seiser Alm are also suitable for bike transport (for a fee). This means you can explore the largest Alpine plateau in Europe right to its farthest corners.
Look forward to unforgettable rides, panoramic high-mountain routes and the freedom of discovering South Tyrol’s Dolomites landscapes on two wheels – at your own pace and in your own style.
