Local energy for your mountain adventure – with heart, oats and attitude 🌾 Taste the diversity of the Dolomites region of Seiser Alm!
A collaboration with Protect Our Winters Italy.

Together with Protect Our Winters and passionate South Tyrolean chef Leo Andergassen (Underdexter), we will produce oat bars from regional agricultural products. In doing so, we will demonstrate how energy, nutrition and cultural diversity can be sustainably combined in the mountains.
In the heart of the Dolomites, we will create a meeting place where we can cook, learn and enjoy together. Verena, a scientist from EURAC Research Bolzano, will provide exciting insights into local grain cultivation and show the opportunities that regional, ecological value chains offer our community.

Join us as we turn local ingredients into a healthy snack!

Daniel Pattis, long-distance and mountain runner from Tiers am Rosengarten, will be our special guest.
Useful informations / what to bring
Meeting point: 09.30 am at the Runggung car park - we then walk together for approx. 30 minutes to the Untertrumpedeller Schwaige!

Good shoes and clothing suitable for hiking, rain jacket, sun cream, water bottle

The meeting point of the event can also be reached by public transport - take the public bus to St. Zyprian bus station (Cyprianerhof) + approx. 15 minutes on foot to Runggun.
