The Sustainable Tourism Project South Tyrol establishes the guidelines for the development of our region in a sustainable direction our region; it is based on the Destination Criteria of the
Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and constitutes a significant step towards a future of sustainable tourism.
It is our intention to establish a status quo in a variety of areas of sustainability, and to develop long-term measures for the destination. Together, we would like the Dolomite region of the Seiser Alm to be a sustainable, attractive place to live for both locals and guests, and to guarantee credibility. Every one of these measures must be designed such that future generations will also benefit from their social, economic and, first and foremost, ecological impacts.
