The road to the Seiser Alm nature reserve is closed to private car traffic from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Starting from the 2026 summer season, you will need to book both the P1 Spitzbühl car park and the P2 Compatsch car park on the Seiser Alm online in advance. The current parking fee is €30.00 per day. Bookings can be made up to six days before arrival. Even with a reserved parking space, the access rules for the Seiser Alm still apply: The road is closed to private traffic between 09:00 and 17:00. This means you must arrive before 09:00 to reach the car parks in your own vehicle. So plan your journey accordingly and bring your booking confirmation with you so that you can enjoy your stay on the Seiser Alm.
A parking fee of €15 per vehicle is charged. Please note that debit and credit card payments are not possible. Payment can only be made in cash. The price includes one discounted ticket for either the Spitzbühl chairlift or the new bus line 14, which runs between Spitzbühl and Compatsch. Bus line 14 operates from June 15 to September 28, and improves access to the Spitzbühl lift and the Tschapit area. The route is served by a minibus.
