How to find us

The Seiser Alm Tourist Information Office is located in Compatsch, the heart of Seiser Alm. We are the first point of contact for visitors. We provide information on local attractions, accommodation, events, leisure activities, hiking and cycling trails, and assist our guests in planning their stay. We also offer recommendations on regional highlights and the best excursion destinations.

Public transport

You can reach the Seiser Alm using the cablecar Seis-Seiseralm or out of season there is the bus line number 179 driving up to Compatsch.

Parking

Parking is available at P2 Compatsch Parking or P1 Spitzbühl Parking.
From 29 June 2026, an online advance reservation is required for the P2 and P1 car park. Reservations can be made up to six days before your arrival.
The P2 Compatsch car park is equipped with two entrance barriers and two exit barriers (one at the entrance and another at the bus turning area). To enter the car park, you must scan the QR code from your reservation at the entrance barrier. When leaving, the QR code must be scanned again at the exit barrier.
Parking on Seiser Alm is prohibited between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. During these hours, the entrance barriers remain closed. The exit barriers are operational at all times.

The current parking fee is €30.00 per day per vehicle, €15.00 per day for motorcycles, and €160.00 per day for buses.

Directions
Access to Seiser Alm by private vehicle is permitted only before 9:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m.
We therefore recommend parking your car in the large outdoor car park or in one of the two paid parking garages at the valley station of the Seiser Alm Cable Car. From there, you can enjoy a quick, comfortable, and scenic ride up to Europe's largest high-altitude alpine meadow. Travelling by cable car is not only convenient but also an environmentally friendly choice.
The Tourist Information Office is located just a few metres from the mountain station of the Seiser Alm Cable Car.
