ICARO Hotel

On the Alpe di Siusi stands the ICARO, a retreat and energy oasis. Since 1936, guests and visitors have been fascinated by the view of the Cir peaks and the Langkofel, the Kesselkogel and the Schlern. The ICARO is a place of power, embedded in the untouched natural and cultural landscape of the Dolomites. Sculptural peaks rise up around the exciting new architecture that gifts the ICARO a new design. Hubert Kostner's art is also highly inspiring. Renewed and yet respectful of tradition, the transformed ICARO will welcome globetrotters from 1 July 2021 and provide them with wonderful travel experiences through art, nature, pleasure and architecture. The shape of the house recalls the concentrated power of a flapping wing and welcomes its guests with open arms. Angelika Sattler and her family are the third generation to run the house. They grew up on the alp, where they have experienced and continue to love the mountain year-round. The Sattlers confirm: The ICARO is worth the trip. Rooms, pool, SPA, restaurant, bar and terrace are generously distributed over three levels and become part of the Alpe di Siusi through intelligently conceived niches and perspectives.
