It includes the Seiser Alm – the largest high alpine pasture in Europe – as well as the holiday villages of Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern, Seiser Alm, Völs am Schlern, and Tiers am Rosengarten. You will also meet warm-hearted locals and experience living traditions and culture. This makes the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm the ideal destination for your holiday in South Tyrol.
Holiday on the Seiser Alm
Welcome to Europe’s largest Alpine pasture!

The highlight of the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm is the Seiser Alm itself. Covering 56 km², this high plateau is a paradise for active holidaymakers. From spring to autumn, at altitudes between 1,800 and 2,300 metres, you can set off on hikes, climbing tours, and bike trails, all while exploring the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. In winter, the Seiser Alm turns into heaven on earth for fans of skiing, cross-country skiing, sledging, and winter hiking. People of all ages and fitness levels find their very own holiday bliss here.

By the way: the Seiser Alm is part of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park and a protected landscape area. As a result, the plateau is subject to special protection and may only be accessed in compliance with specific rules.
