Variety & plenty of sunshine

Summer holidays in the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm

The Dolomites Region Seiser Alm, with its holiday villages of Kastelruth, Seis am Schlern, Völs am Schlern and Tiers am Rosengarten, has a truly unique centrepiece: the Seiser Alm – Europe’s largest high Alpine pasture, covering 56 km².
It is a wonderfully varied destination where you can enjoy a relaxed summer holiday shaped by diverse outdoor activities and delicious moments of enjoyment in family-run huts and Alpine farms – all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage, with the Schlern, Langkofel and Plattkofel, and the Rosengarten. Because the entire region lies on a high plateau, you can experience both sunrise and sunset.

People of all ages will find an activity they love on the Seiser Alm and around the villages: from easy, family-friendly walking paths and cycle routes to demanding mountain-bike trails, climbing routes and summit tours. The climate in the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm is mild, the sun shines frequently, and a lively programme of events adds extra entertainment. Immerse yourself in the region’s many facets: its rich flora and fauna across different altitudes, traditions that blend Alpine and Mediterranean influences, and countless culinary delights.
