From the top station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car, walk to the Church of St. Francis.

The trail no. 30 starts behind the church. It initially crosses the meadows and, after about 15 minutes, crosses the Alpe di Siusi road.

Continue past the Steger-Dellai Hotel and then through the forest for a short stretch. At the fork, keep to the right. From there, it is only a short uphill section to reach the Gostner mountain hut .
