Seiser Alm Marketing - Völs am Schlern
From game to game: Galloping into the Middle Ages is every spring the returning motto in the Dolomites region Seiser Alm. After the start at the Trostburg Castel in Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena the tournament goes on with four stages: at the Kofel/Mount Calvary in Kastelruth takes place the traditional ring jousting. The second game, the labyrinth, is on program at the Matzlbödele in Seis.The third of four stages takes place at the Völser Weiher lake with its gallop. The tournament concludes with the game at Prösels Castle, the ride through posts.

8:00pm Village square Kastelruth: Opening of the village festival with beer tapping ceremony (free beer barrel donated by the Spezialbier Brewery Forst, Algund) and announcement of the starting order
7:00pm – 11:00pm Village square Kastelruth: Live music with the cover band “Die 2te Chance” – Alpine rock from South Tyrol
8:00pm – 1:00am Village square Kastelruth: Party atmosphere with DJ

2:30pm Grand festive parade from Telfen, Hotel Alpenflora to the village center of Kastelruth: featuring 36 participating teams on horseback, brass bands, flag throwers, theatre performers, knights and jesters in traditional costumes, festive floats, horse-drawn carriages with honorary guests, and much more
3:30pm Opening ceremonies
6:00pm – 11:00pm Musical entertainment with the folk music quintet “Junge Helden”
7:30pm Horsemen’s mass in the parish church of Kastelruth
8:00pm – 1:00am Party with DJ

11:30am – 1:00pm Concert by the “Bauernkapelle Oanach” from St. Lorenzen (Pustertal)

9:30am - 1st tournament game: "Ringstechen" at the Kofel in Kastelruth
11:00am- 2nd tournament game: "Labyrinth" at Matzlbödele in Siusi allo Sciliar
12:40pm - 3rd tournament game: "Obstacle gallop" at the Völser Weiher in Völs am Schlern
2:20pm - 4th tournament game: "Tor-Ritt" Heinz "Bummi" Tschugguel at Prösels Castle, followed by the award ceremony and closing party.
