Schlern-Rosengarten/Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park Visitor Center - Seis am Schlern
At the entrance to the Ciamin Valley, in the locality of Weißlahnbad, is the Steger Säge Information Point.
Here visitors can see an ancient, water‑powered Venetian sawmill, as well as the home of the last sawyer. In addition to these testimonies of Alpine craftsmanship and cultural tradition, the information point also presents a range of interesting exhibition elements and content. These include a listening station with birdsong, a small cinema booth, and a visitor information system dedicated to the fauna, flora, and geology of the Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park.
General description
Free admission; reservation not necessary.
Directions
Bus: Buses run to Tires from Bolzano; the Information Point of the Nature Park is located in Bagni di Lavina Bianca.
