Round, tasty, and traditional – for you, dumplings in South Tyrol are not just a meal, but a way of life. Here, dumplings aren’t just a side dish, they are a delicious treat on their own.

At the annual Dumpling Festival on the village square in Kastelruth, you can enjoy the full variety of South Tyrolean dumplings: cheese gnocchi, spinach dumplings, bacon dumplings – and for those with a sweet tooth, apricot-strawberry dumplings are a must.

The Dumpling Festival takes place on the village square.
You can reach the square on foot from the Kastelruth bus station in just 5 minutes.

By bus: you can find the timetables at www.silbernagl.it or www.sii.bz.it

By car: parking is available in the lot behind Hotel Schgaguler (time clock: 90 minutes) or in the „Dorf“ underground garage (next to the Eurospar supermarket), or in the center near the bus station.

In case of thunderstorm or heavy rain the event will not take place.
