"Dietro le stelle" - theater in the cable car

Dietro le stelle (“Behind the Stars”) is a unique theatre experience aboard the Cabrio cable car in Tiers. During the journey, audiences follow the inspiring story of aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart and the final mysterious stage of her around-the-world flight.

Combining theatre, dance and evocative music, the performance creates a captivating atmosphere that makes full use of the cable car setting. The ascent takes place as a regular cable car ride (approx. 8 minutes) with the cabin lights on. The theatre performance itself takes place during the slower descent (approx. 13 minutes) with the cabin lights switched off. The evening concludes with a dance performance at the valley station.

The performance accommodates up to 40 spectators. If demand is high, a second performance will take place immediately after the first one. Advance reservations or bookings are not possible.

Admission to the theatre performance is free of charge, and the round trip on the Cabrio cable car is also free for all visitors.

Important note: The performance is presented exclusively in Italian.
