Guided Circular hike around the Rosengarten

Right into the heart of the impressive rock formations of the Rosengarten: two distinctive mountain passes, panoramic high-level trails, and ever-changing views of the surrounding Dolomites make this demanding mountain hike a special experience.

Tour description:
We start with a ride on the Cabrio cable car from Tiers and continue via Frommer Alm with the panoramic König Laurin 1 and 2 cable cars to the Kölner Hut. This is where our hike begins, following trail no. 550 up to the Tschagerjoch at 2,630 m, the highest point of the tour. After a short break, we descend on the other side and continue towards the Cigolade Pass. After crossing the second pass of the tour, we join trail no. 541 and follow it to the Rotwand Hut, where we stop for lunch. We then continue past the Christomannos Monument and follow the panoramic Hirzel Trail back to the Kölner Hut. From there, we take the lifts back down to St. Zyprian.

Distance: 11 km
Difficulty: technically demanding hike; sure-footedness and very good physical fitness required
Refreshment stop: Rotwand Hut, Pederiva Hut

The price includes only the guided hike. Cable car tickets and lunch are not included and must be covered by the participants. It is recommended to take this into account when planning the hike.
