How to find us

The road to the Seiser Alm nature reserve is closed to private car traffic from 9 am until 5 pm. At any time it is allowed to drive back down to the valley.

The current car park fee is €30.00/day; (daily rate only, free parking for 10 minutes), If the ticket is lost, twice the amount of the current car park fee, must be paid.

During the off-season (middle of April-middle of May and beginning of November-beginning of Dicember) the Seiser Alm cable car remains closed and therefore the road up to Compatsch is open to private traffic all day long. In Compatsch you will find the parking area P2 14,00€ for cars and 80,00€ for buses.

With the European parking permit for disabled people you can access the P2 car park at any time. It is possible to park for free in the signposted disabled parking spaces (outside P2).

Parking
A ticket must be taken when entering the car park. Payment must be made before leaving, there are 2 automatic pay machines inside the new car park attendant's hut. Payment can be made by credit card or in cash. Access to the pay machines through a sliding door, currently from 07:30am – 07:00pm in automatic mode, access at night only with a parking ticket. Exit is possible at any time.

In the Seiser Alm Nature Protection Reserve parking is prohibited from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am.The entrance barriers are blocked for the duration of the parking ban from 11:00pm to 06:00am. The local police carry out conduct checks in this regard and fines are imposed.
Directions
Coming from the north: Motorway exit A22 Klausen, towards the Sciliar area.
Starting from Castelrotto (Telfen): about 11 km via the Alpe di Siusi road to Compatsch. Shortly before Compatsch (at the Hotel Zorzi) is the entrance to the P2 car park.

Coming from the south: Motorway exit A22 Bolzano Nord, towards the Sciliar area. Shortly after Siusi (Telfen) take the Alpe di Siusi road to Compatsch (approx 11 km). Shortly before Compatsch (at the Hotel Zorzi) is the entrance to the P2 car park.
