How to find us
The small St. Cyprian Chapel is a late Romanesque structure featuring a barrel vault, a rounded apse, and a low tower. The exterior frescoes from the 17th century are particularly striking: they depict the miraculous saving of the Platzlinder meadow. While God hurls lightning from the clouds, Cyprian and Justina spread their protective cloaks over the meadow and the grazing herd.
The fresco recalls an old tradition suggesting that the original main settlement of Tiers was not in today’s village center but here in St. Cyprian.
The chapel can only be viewed from the outside, as the interior is not accessible.
