Active Day: Snowshoe Hike on the Seiser Alm

Experience a guided snowshoe hike through the breathtaking landscape of the Seiser Alm. The tour is moderate and offers the group a unique natural experience.

The route leads towards Panorama – Molignon – Saltria. At the beginning, you’ll take the Panorama chairlift; this is not included in the price and costs €8.50 per person (one-way ride only). The return is from Saltria to Compatsch by bus, which costs €4.00 per person. If you have the Combi Card, the bus ride is free.

During the hike, you’ll discover the beauty of the Dolomites, walking on snowy paths and enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Depending on weather and snow conditions, the route follows either a wide snowshoe trail or goes off the beaten path. Along the way, there are small breaks where you’ll receive interesting information about the Alpine world.

The mountain guide Helmut Kostner knows the area like no one else and will lead the group safely and expertly through this impressive winter landscape.

Meeting point: Seiser Alm mountain station
You can take the cable car (paid) to the Seiser Alm. The price is €30 per person for a round trip.
Alternatively, you can drive by car to Compatsch (Seiser Alm) before 9:00 AM. The parking fee is €30 per day.

Sporthaus Fill in Kastelruth & on the Seiser Alm
K&K Sports at the valley or mountain station of the Seiser Alm cable car
Alpin Sport at the valley and mountain station of the Seiser Alm cable car
Sport Hans on the Seiser Alm
