Take the Seiser Alm cable car from Siusi to Compatsch.
From the mountain station, walk towards the St. Francis Church.
Trail No. 30 starts behind the church.
The trail initially leads across meadows and, after about 15 minutes, crosses the Seiser Alm road.
Continue past the Hotel Steger-Dellai and then through a short section of forest.
At the fork, keep right; from there, it is only a short uphill walk to the Gostner hut.
