450 km of well-marked and carefully maintained hiking trails on two altitude levels – the high plateau of the Seiser Alm above and the valley around the holiday villages below – combined with around 300 days of sunshine per year, open up
endless hiking possibilities.
From March to November, you can explore the Seiser Alm and the entire Dolomites Region Seiser Alm on foot. There is something for everyone: leisurely hut-to-hut walks, challenging summit tours on the Schlern, Langkofel and Plattkofel, as well as enjoyable spring and autumn hikes at the foot of the Seiser Alm.
At one of the many marked drinking water fountains, you can refill your water bottle. South Tyrol’s tap water is of excellent quality. By refilling your reusable bottle, you help reduce plastic waste from single-use bottles.
Important: Before setting off on your hike, please check whether your planned route is safely accessible. Due to thunderstorms, rockfall or other natural events, hiking paths or sections may be closed at short notice.
