Horse riding at the foot of the Seiser Alm

Exploring the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm at a gentle pace

When horse riding at the foot of the Seiser Alm, you can take in the scenery around the villages of Kastelruth and Seis am Schlern in complete tranquillity. The 300 days of sunshine a year make the experience even more enjoyable.
Haflinger horses are especially popular here, as they move with great surefootedness in the mountains. Around 200 of them spend the summer on the Alpine meadows of the Seiser Alm – you’re almost certain to see some during your ride.
A perfect location for a family riding holiday
The Unterlanzin Riding Centre
The Unterlanzin Riding Centre is located in Telfen, between Kastelruth and Seis am Schlern. Here you can learn how to handle horses, how to look after them and how to ride them. Qualified riding instructors offer lessons for all levels, as well as private sessions in the paddock. Joint excursions and horse trekking tours are also available.
