Visitor Center Nature Park Schlern-Rosengarten: The area of the nature park Schlern-Rosengarten has a diversified history, not only in its prehistoric formation. The resulting flora and fauna as well as the management by the people, along with their customs and myths, have left their mark. The exhibition in the nature park house tries to show all aspects of this area’s unique geology, which was the main reason leading to being named as a Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the flora and fauna, which has always been a source of attraction and inspiration for scientists and nature lovers. In laborious detail work, the inhabitants of this area contributed significantly to the preservation of this valuable cultural and natural landscape.

In addition to the exhibitions of the Visitor Center Nature Park department, the tourist office Seis am Schlern and the village library complete the offer for guests and locals.

While outside nature is resting, the Nature Park Visitor Center in Seis am Schlern provides an insight into the diverse and fascinating flora and fauna of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. A special focus this winter is on the amphibians of South Tyrol. A special exhibition shows their way of life and introduces us to toads, frogs, salamanders, and newts. The Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park Visitor Center in Seis can be visited free of charge during opening hours.

Location and arrival
The Visitor Center Nature Park Schlern-Rosengarten is located at the O.v.Wolkenstein square in the centre of Seis am Schlern. At the roundabout in Seis am Schlern take the exit in the direction of the center. After 150 metres you will find the Visitor Center Nature Park on the left side.

bus

Seis with the Visitor Center Nature Park can also be easily reached by public transport. The bus station, where all bus lines stop, is in only 2 minutes walking distance from the centre and therefore also from the Visitor Center Nature Park Schlern-Rosengarten.

car

There is an underground car park just 2 minutes walk from the center. It is located behind the Esso petrol station below the bus station. The first basement is chargeable, the second basement is free of charge for 2 hours with parking disc.
