Tobogganing on the Seiser Alm or in Völs am Schlern near the Hofer Alpl is a truly special winter experience. Reaching the start of the toboggan runs is wonderfully easy: simply take the chairlifts Florian and Monte Piz or the Telemix Puflatsch. If you prefer to walk leisurely through the snow-covered winter landscape to the top, that’s also an option – and an especially charming one.
A new addition is the small toboggan park in Compatsch, located opposite the church. It serves both as a toboggan run and as a sliding hill. Here, Patrick Lambacher, a former world champion luger from Villnöss, offers free tobogganing courses three times a week, sharing plenty of tips and tricks for correct braking and riding techniques. Outside of course hours, the toboggan park is open to everyone and can be used at any time.
